MicroSet 1
The original MicroSet was introduced in January of 1997. Over the next three years several improvements were made. By the year 2000 there was no longer room for additional growth, and a new timer was designed to allow continued improvement. The last revision of the original design was made on 02-29-00. To see your revision date, hold down the PLUS button when you turn on the timer.

It is no longer possible to upgrade an early MicroSet.

MicroSet 2 and 3
An improved MicroSet was introduced in June of 2000. The following list identifies the history of major improvements in MicroSet 2 and MicroSet 3. If you have one of these timers, you can upgrade to the most recent firmware for $25. You can also upgrade from a MicroSet 2 to a MicroSet 3. To see your revision date, hold down the PLUS button when you turn on the timer.

January 2002 - add support for a temperature sensor
May 2002 - add support for the Rate Finder
June 2002 - add Runing Average feature in MicroSet 3
July 2002 - add Pendulum Adjustment feature in MicroSet 3
October 2003 - add tachometer function to technical modes
October 2004 - add support for atmospheric sensor and simultaneous logging of amplitude and rate.
