All models of MicroSet may be ordered with a built-in beat amplifier which allows you to hear the tick as you measure a timepiece. No new controls are needed. The amplifier is turned on and off with the standard keypad and the volume is controlled by the exisiting LEVEL control. A speaker is added to the bottom of the timer. Since MicroSet sits on rubber feet, the speaker is held off the table top and can be easily heard.
