Glass Domed Mantel Clocks


These quartz clocks are derived from the style of battery electric mantel clocks of the 1920s and 1930s.

Antique Replica
The fist design is traditional. The base is Bubinga or Imbuya (Bubinga is shown). The supports are polished and lacquered brass. The dial is antique white painted metal in a variety of number styles. The pendulum is a polished brass cylinder on a stainless steel rod.

Dimensions
 The wooden base is 8" in diameter.
 The glass dome is 10" tall.

Modern
The second design is whimsical. The base is Jelutong. The supports and pointed feet are polished black Delrin. The dial is black painted metal with white numbers. The hands are bent wire. The pendulum is a polished aluminum tube mounted horizontally on a stainless steel rod.

Dimensions
 The wooden base is 7" in diameter.
 The glass dome is 10" tall.
